Baggage Damage
In the event of such an incident, please make sure that you use the full range of our app. This is the only way to ensure that baggage damage has been correctly documented. Afterwards, all you have to do is create a so-called PIR ticket in our app. By doing so, you confirm that we will act on your behalf and will try to claim damages for you in an uncomplicated manner. This saves you a lot of time and trouble at the airport, as well as all the correspondence. We keep you up to date with the facts via our app. Our office will be active for you (depending on the package booked). Therefore, make absolutely sure that your profile information and insurance documents in our app are completely correct and stored in order to avoid delays in processing.
Baggage Loss

Afterwards, all you have to do is create a so-called BIL ticket in our app (BIL = Buggage Inventory List). By doing so, you confirm that we will act on your behalf and will try to claim damages for you in an uncomplicated manner. This saves you a lot of time and trouble at the airport, as well as all the correspondence. Of course, we will try to find your piece of luggage in the first step and send it to you via our partners. We keep you up to date with the facts via our app. Our office will be active for you (depending on the package booked). Therefore, make absolutely sure that your profile information and insurance documents in our app are completely correct and stored in order to avoid delays in processing.
Boarding Pass
Our app currently supports over 1200 airlines, which corresponds to a market coverage of over 70%. However, some airlines may not yet be part of our partner network. Of course, we are working flat out to integrate these into our app as well. If you believe that your boarding pass is one of the 1200 airlines mentioned, please open a ticket so that we can further improve our service.
Checkin*
The checkin enables you to check in your luggage from -24h before your departure. You can therefore track the condition of your luggage, its contents and also its weight completely at home. If your luggage is lost later, you have proof to the airline. But much more. Our algorithms will independently initiate all further processes and relieve you. * - Feature is only available from Rel1.7.
Pre-Check In*
The pre-check-in enables you to check in your luggage from -72h before your departure. You can therefore track the condition of your luggage, its contents and also its weight completely at home. If your luggage is lost later, you have proof to the airline. But much more. Qr Codes
The QR code must be replaced at the latest when it can no longer be read by our app. It is therefore advisable to replace the QR code accordingly at an early stage.
Registration
Your personal information is therefore mandatory, since we have to send you your ProTagged starter package with your luggage tags. In addition, we enable you to properly comply with all claim periods in the event of baggage loss or damage. Depending on the package booked, our renowned and international law firm will take over your case completely independently. So you can avoid any loss of time in asserting your interests against airlines or your tour operator.
Self Checkout
Self-checkout is possible until + 4h after your arrival. This allows you to make the checkout at your accommodation if necessary if it was too stressful at the airport. We generally advise against this. To all claims z. For example, to be able to carry out baggage damage for you, we ask you to carry out the self-checkout immediately after baggage has been received. This is the only way to have all relevant information (e.g. date, time) in your travel history.
The self-checkout enables you to check out your luggage up to + 3 hours after departure. Please make sure that all damage is logged directly at the baggage claim. Our app supports you enormously here. If your luggage is damaged, click the "PIR" button accordingly. PIR is English and means Property Irregularity Report and means damage report. Usually you have to fill it in at the airline counter and invest a lot of time. Not with ProTagged. Simply press the PIR button and enter a little additional information. ProTagged does the rest for you.
Smart Checkin*
Smart check-in / check-in is possible from -3 hours before your departure. * - There is only Checkin from Rel1.7, please read checkin section for more information.
If you have already carried out the pre-check-in beforehand, you can simply take over many steps. This enables you to make check-in at the airport much easier. You just have to confirm most of the steps. If the information is no longer correct (e.g. the piece of luggage has been damaged or the contents or weight have changed), please adjust this. * - There is only Checkin from Rel1.7, please read checkin section for more information
Tracking
Our app allows you to track your baggage when you drop off your baggage, board it, make a stopover in the case of a connected flight and offboard. We are already working with some airlines and will of course ensure that we include all airlines in the future. For technical reasons, we can only do this with the airlines' concession. Therefore, please do not be misled if the checkpoints mentioned are not yet available on some flights. In addition, your luggage will of course always be tracked during pre-check-in, self-check-in and self-checkout.
